STRAND: Isa Genzken, Blinky Palermo, Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Thomas Schütte is a group exhibition that took place at Sies + Höke in 2020, accompanied by a publication of the same title.

Including seven small-format works by Blinky Palermo, Gerhard Richter, Thomas Schütte, Isa Genzken and Sigmar Polke, the exhibition STRAND (beach) examines the relationship between men and women from different perspectives and raises the question whether serenity and consonance are only ever possible for short moments. The title may be understood as a break from gender conflict, as a reference to a place of longing with instinctive naturalness and lightness in relationships, or for a transmission frequency finally found.

The catalogue is comprised of images, installation views and work details of the seven works included in the exhibition, as well as the essay STRAND or The beauty of instinctinve nature by Susanne Küper.
