Since January 2023, the Sies + Höke project space Caprii is open and energising playful collaboration and dynamic exhibition-making in the local Düsseldorf scene. Each of the solo and group exhibitions of Caprii are accompanied by a booklet, which offers an extended plane for holistically encountering the praxis of the respective artists.

The fifth edition presents the immersive multimedia installation VERITAS VERMIBUS by Emma Adler. Responding to our rampant post-factual age, Adler explores the ontological conflicts, ambiguities and irritations embodied in the increasingly obsolete border zones between digital and physical realities. Her space-enveloping installations open playful visual and sonic experiences borne from artistic research which critically investigates our understanding of authenticity and the politics of perception encompassing various levels of reality, endeavouring to prompt our personal and collective reconsideration of the reliability of perception as an instrument of knowledge in a digitalised world.

The booklet series is designed by Studio Thomas Spallek and is made using remnant paper stock sourced from Druckerei Kettler.
